Session Fees

All fees are payable at the time of the session. Payment can be made via bank transfer or card.

Reduced fees are available to concession cardholders and individuals experiencing financial difficulties. Please get in touch to discuss.

Medicare Rebates

A Medicare rebate of $145.25 is available for clients on a Mental Health Treatment Plan, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $119.75 per session.

Medicare is currently providing rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. To start with, your doctor or psychiatrist will refer you for up to 6 sessions. If you need more, they can refer you for further sessions.

Obtaining a Mental Health Treatment Plan

You will need to obtain a Mental Health Treatment Plan and a referral from a GP in order to receive a rebate from Medicare. A Mental Health Treatment Plan lets you claim up to 10 sessions with a mental health professional (such as a psychologist or social worker) each calendar year.

Private Health Insurance

Depending on your level of extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate through your private health fund. Please check with your insurer for the specific amount. Note that you cannot claim both a Medicare and a private health insurance rebate for the same session.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and you may need to occasionally cancel or reschedule your appointment. In such cases, I kindly request that you inform me as soon as possible by email.

Please note:

Appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice will incur a fee of 50% of the full session price.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a fee of 100% of the full session price.

This fee will be charged to your nominated card on the day of the missed appointment, unless you make other payment arrangements. Please note that your funding provider, including Medicare, will not provide a co-payment for cancellation fees.

This policy is necessary to ensure that other clients who need appointments can be offered the available time slots, and to maintain the sustainability of the practice.
